  • Jane Lanza

    FAMILY TREE CANNABIS CO.

Jane learned medical growing from her partner Ben about 12 years ago and had experience working in indoor grows prior. Jane and Ben started their organic sun grown hemp farm in 2018 with the passing of the Farm Bill.

Jane got a medical card in California when she graduated school back in 2005. She worked trimming for a few San Fransisco based businesses and inspired by the growing marketplace out West and female business owners she met; she directed her career path towards the cannabis industry in Vermont.

For Jane, cannabis cultivation brings her connection to the life cycle, seasons and Earth. She has a deep appreciation for the international history of cannabis through millennia and reverence for the future potential of this plant, of which we’re not even yet fully aware. The science and direct experience of the way that the molecules inside the plant bind with our receptors to restore physiological harmony, inspires her to believe in the healing potential of this ancient plant.

Family Tree Cannabis Co. products can be found in 35 dispensaries across the state. Store locator and craft CBD products can be found on their online shop.

  • Cassandra Rose

    WOLF CREEK FARM

Cassandra has been growing cannabis for the past 3 years on the Rose family farm located in the heart of Vermont. Although Cassandra never saw herself pursuing this path, a series of events led her to where she is today.

The use of cannabis helped her father's cancer go into remission. After that, it became his dream to provide good quality cannabis products to the public so that they too could benefit from it like he did. Unfortunately, in the process of starting his business, he lost his farm. The stress of it made his cancer return with a vengeance, and he passed away in December of 2019.

A few years later, the farm went up for auction and the Rose family got it back. With this gift and second chance, it only made sense to make his dreams come true. Cassandra spent a year getting the farm cleaned up and ready to go before beginning on this wild and unexpected journey.

Cassandra loves working outside and in the 3 large greenhouses on the farm. She loves the heat and her strengths lie in multitasking which is exactly what it takes to run a cannabis farm. She currently grows most of her flower to sell under the brand Doughboi Farms. Dough is active on social media, great at sales and provides awesome unique packaging, making him the perfect partner for their operation.

You can find Doughboi Farm flowers in dispensaries across the state, and the full list is on their website!
